Linden entered the Kenrith family after the birth of Rowan and Will, but, having never met their own biological parent, the twins proudly considered Linden their true mother. Their faith in her was justified when she gracefully stepped in to the role as ruler of the realm during King Kenrith's disappearance after Oko had transformed him into an elk.
